BCSCA provides members with funding opportunities. This page contains information on current and past grants available to our members.
Current Grants
2026 Club Coach Collaboration Initiative
Purpose & Objective: The purpose of this Grant is to encourage and invest in building robust relationships within the SwimBC/BCSCA, Canadian, or International club system. By the end of the proposed experience, applicants should have developed a relationship with another club.
Goal:
- The goal of this Initiative is to strengthen relationships between clubs through professional and swimmer development.
Details:
- Award Amount: $500 per initiative
Applications open April 15th, 2026
Selection Process: Applications will be reviewed by the BCSCA board in the order they are received. Once all six grants are awarded, no further applications will be accepted.
Application & Eligibility Criteria:
- The application must involve a registered member of the BCSCA in good standing for the 2025-26 swim season.
- The application must be submitted with an email or letter detailing how the grant funds will be used and the impact on coaching or club programming.
- The application must include a draft budget.
Grant Requirements:
- Provide receipts and a reflection report to the BCSCA after grant usage for reimbursement
- Submit a brief reflection report within one month of completing the grant activity. These reports will be shared on the BCSCA website for others to learn from.
- Note: Grants for NCCP courses will NOT be approved
- Note: Grants for Regional, Provincial, National competitions will NOT be approved.
- Use grant funds prior to August 31, 2026.
